Dead Man’s Shoes
Awesome shooting man! I remember seeing this in Dead man's shoes and always wondered where it was. Cheers!
how did you manage to use tangerine dream music without it stopping you ? unless it put you down for no income from this video, i used a 10 second clip not long back to start one of mine off and it instantly stopped me for copyright...good video
Hello my. Friend, I always put on the end credits who recorded the music and who. Wrote it .
@@TheROCKET2000 Does that actually work, I once used a Clannad song and the only problem it gave me was it couldn't be viewed in Korea.
Just below the farmhouse, itsen just below Riber beesem rough on to fields rolling alt Road down tflats behind NG Pumps. Thank you , many thanks for all the information about the area and castle it’s very interesting.
What a beautiful view of ribber. Brought back memories
Thank very much for your kind comment , I’m happy to make other people happy .👍👍👍👍
I've watched loads of times lol What editing software did you use 😀
Hello , many thanks for watching my footage of river castle. The drone I used for that flight was the first mavic pro and the software I used is called iMovie , it is a software from apple . I hope this helps with your drone flying . Good luck .
Sorry, RIBER CASTLE. 🤪
That footage made my day😀 I'm from Matlock Not living there now I have a new DJI mini se Can you remember how far away the castle was from you I would like to try this😀 How hard is it to learn to fly a drone 😱🤣
I took off from the small park and I made sure I could see the castle all the time as the crow flys , I would say about half a mile distance. Your mini se should reach the castle and back . Good luck with your footage.👍
@@TheROCKET2000 Didn't realise that the mini se is a Wi-Fi drone It didn't even get past Matlock green 🤣 Then it lost reception and came back I've just bought the DJI mini 2 With four times zoom and 10 km range I'll try again soon lol
Great footage! Keep up the great work! I’ve just subscribed!
Well thank you very much .👍
Fabulosa, fantástica, extraordinária, inigualável, um palácio belíssimo.
Thank you very much . X
Lmao....who's idea was it anyway?
I don’t know about the history of the manor , all I know that a film was filmed there. Are you trying to tell me something about the manor .?
Pädophile - House since hundret of Years. Poor killed Children.
No maze?
"Dead Man Shoes" filmed around there, a good film also worth a watch.
Yeah, close to Winster / Oker though
Flying at height in the approach to Birmingham Airport. Very stupid. Give your head a wobble.
SEEK ??
THAT SEEK:where is it?
Great choice of music love a bit of JMJ
Thank you for the kind comment , 👍🏻
Very nice footage of Ribber Castle and the area. I was there a few weeks ago visiting Lumsdale Falls and I seen this Castle from the road. I really wanted to see this Castle however had not enough time left. I'm glad You made this video because even if I had chance to go there I wouldn't have chance to see it better. Great job and thank You for sharing.
Thank you .👍
Superb flight! What drone are you using? I'll have to have a fly up there someday 👍😎 I remember when it was a zoo, I think the castle was a ruin and the animal cages were dotted about, did they have some big cats like leopards or Panthers, maybe lynx or something and also birds of prey?⚠️ New supporter for your channel, hopefully you'll check out my Mavic Mini related channel and connect?
PD Tech hello pd tech, I’m so glad you like the footage of riber castle . The drone I used , was the DJI mavic pro . I will look out for your footage using the mavic mini .
They had lnx,and meerkats and eagle's and a few flamingo, I lived in Hurst farm estate on hill opposite castle Riber was known for its Lynx, it had European,Canadian,Bobcat and Caracal, European Lynx were released from there as part of a reintroduction programme,I quite liked Riber although access was bad, and some of the enclosures weren't that good.
@@S-O-T Yes I remember the lynx well and the birds if prey always looked fed up like stuffed animals, my dad used to take me years ago when I was a kid. It was like a poor man's Chester zoo! Like you say the enclosures weren't very good, a bit ramshackled and not very secure looking, the place looked run down back then and it never looked busy! I did wonder what happened to the place! So they released the cats? 😲🤔😳
@@pdtech4524 Yes lol
No , I always have obstacle avoidance left on , just in case . I’m sure if I was getting to close to any item the Sensors would have started to respond. But I know if you fly into the bright light of the sun it confuses the obstacle avoidance . I suppose that’s why I returned my mavic pro back to base .
Did you have your obstacle avoidance switched off?
Chingford's in London not Essex you plank!
Thank you for your kind comment . It’s funny you say you live in Essex now . I live in Long Eaton, not far from Matlock but I work in Chingford, Essex . Small world .🙂
Nice bit of filming. I preferred it when it was a zoo with a three legged fox. I'd like to see something like this following the railway from Matlock to Buxton. I currently live in Essex so I really appreciate you sharing. I lived in Matlock until 1991 (edited date, mistyped).
I've still got my zoo programme
What part Matlock did you live in
@@niteblaster1 Originally at Wellfield Cottage, which is still there. Later on Mettesford. After that we moved to Lynholmes Road. From 1973 to 1976 I was in Coventry doing a Degree course in Graphic Design. When my mother remarried the council let my wife and I have the house, we were living on Holme Road, Matlock Bath when we were first together. In 1990 we divorced and I lived above the Matlock Green post office for a short time. I retrained as a teacher in 1991/2 and lived in Nottingham, in the Meadows area. In 1993 I moved to Essex to teach and have lived here ever since. My wife and son moved down here to join me in 1994. I plan to move back to the general area this year, probably nearer to Chesterfield as my sister and brother live in that area. Have a very good day.
@@KillerBill1953 I lived on mettesford lol
Thank you for your kind comment . Are you a drone flyer your self , and if so have you got footage on UA-cam?.
Sorry I missed your comment. My mother died in May 2019 and I've been a bit distracted. I do';t currently have a drone, sorry. Something I'd like to do eventually and film all the Derbyshire stone circles and mounds for posterity.
@@KillerBill1953 Nine ladies is a good one😀
Confident flying, super video and location.
Hey did you book through Celtic Castles?
No problems mate , they are great little guys.
Thanks for feeding the foxes...

Thanks for looking after him.
It’s no problem, I couldn’t see the little fella go without. Thank you .
TheROCKET2000 he's growing quickly.
Apparently his mum was seen last night so maybe she might help them out as well
Hello my friend, I would love to film a battle there . If you are interested, reply back and we could make some arrangements. Thanks for your interest.
You should've done it a week later my dude, the castle was filled by a few hundred reenactors and we'll be very happy to have someone do aerial filming. Nevertheless, good stuff^^
UA-cam sent me here next: ua-cam.com/video/w-De0DognmA/v-deo.html Have you seen his long exposure pictures at the same location? Very awesome...
For that footage I started with the phantom 4 then switched over to the mavic pro. Again, no filters . But your quite right about the turbine generators , I didn’t give it a second thought. That area is fantastic to fly. Just a WARNING though , the RAF fly there jet fighters at very low altitude there. Nearly caught me out . Regards THEROCKET2000
Beautiful location. Did you use the Pro because you were worried about any interference from the dam generators? That would be my concern with my Air. Love the cloud shadows on the ground at 4:25
Thanks very much for your comment. I didn’t use any filters , as it was just a bit overcast. I’m so glad for the likes of us drone flyers who always watch other flyers footage. I will definitely watch your footage, I hope nothing bad happened to your mavic air. Regards richard (therocket2000)
Very cool reservoir! ND filters? I think a pull back shot coming across the water then revealing the waterfall/towers would be really sweet. Any issues with the drone sensors over water? My first time flying over water with my Mavic Air was... er... exciting?!!?? Sigh. I'm new to droning and made some rookie mistakes unfortunately. (A short video of it on my channel if you are interested.) I love seeing footage like this though... it helps get me motivated to get back out there and take more videos. I desperately need more flight time. :)
That’s a pity . You should go back if you can . And then show us all your footage.
I took my Air to Derwent Reservoir 2 weeks ago but it was so foggy couldn't even see halfway across the lake. Gutted after seeing your great footage of that great scenery. I was flying from the exact same spit you were standing at the end... then after I saw the big red No Drones sign on other side of the tower, oops!
